She earned her esthetics’s license in New York in 2004 and for three years performed facials, chemical peels, body treatments and waxing services for a spa and massage business. She excelled in educating her clients about care products for their skin types.
Before discovering her passion for skin care and pursuing a career as an esthetician, Lisa earned an associate degree in applied science from Tidewater Community College, Virginia Beach, in 1999. Her first jobs were as a counselor for a crisis intervention house and a residential manager at a transitional house for homeless women. Lisa was also a recreation activity director for nursing homes.
In 2007, Lisa moved to North Carolina with her family to take a job as an esthetician for Iatria, one of the Triangle’s top day spas. There she built a solid client base–many who are still with her today.
The opening of her own business in 2010, allowed Lisa to meld her knowledge of therapeutic aesthetics with her impeccable customer service skills. Today she transforms a client’s visit into an extraordinary experience where inner peace is realized.
